Prospective volunteers are asked to attend one of our Volunteer Orientation sessions, held monthly at libraries throughout the area. You’ll get an overview of our mission and operations, as well as a comprehensive view of all the volunteer opportunities available to help make a difference in the lives of ARF’s animals.

Volunteer opportunities include a wide variety of activities to meet everyone’s time and experience requirements. You’ll learn about:

• Dog walking and care
• Cat companionship and care
• Off-site cat care and adoptions
Foster program
Fundraising and Events committee
Recycling committee
Marketing and Publicity committee
Secretarial and database opportunities

Once you attend an orientation, you’ll select the volunteer opportunities you’d like to pursue, and the various committee coordinators will be in touch to get you started.

Please join us at one of our upcoming Volunteer Orientations to learn more about becoming a part of Team ARF
