Rain or Shine we Dash! In the event of inclement weather, the AfterParty will be staged indoors at the Fairgrounds.
The Monster Mutt Dash is a 5k race along with a shorter one-mile Fun Walk for people and their pooches who prefer a more casual pace. The race will be followed by ARF’s FREE Annual Howl-O-Ween AfterParty for both people and pets – that’s open to the public!

Precious funds raised through the Monster Mutt Dash benefit Berea Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) and its life-saving mission.
Saving Lives and Making Friends since 1987:
Each year ARF rovides food, shelter and healthcare to over 1,000 abandoned, abused and neglected animals. ARF operates a no-time-limit shelter dedicated to finding permanent homes and promoting responsible pet guardianship. ARF’s shelter is supported by a small dedicated staff and several hundred devoted volunteers. ARF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and relies solely on the generosity of supporters LIKE YOU to continue our lifesaving mission.

EVENT SCHEDULE: SATURDAY, Oct. 12th – Rain Or Shine – we DASH!*
• Monster Mutt Dash 5K run / 1 Mile Fun Walk
-8 am: Day-of Registration and Pre-Registration Check-In begins
-9:30 am: Race Begins, Runners followed by walkers
• FREE Howl-O-Ween AfterParty:
-10am-1pm – Open to the Public! You do not have to race/walk in the Dash to AfterParty!
*In the event of inclement weather, the AfterParty will be staged indoors in the Junior Fair Building, at the Main Entrance.
PET-FRIENDLY: Well behaved, social pets are welcome!
GOODIES: Race/walk participants get an official long-sleeved Monster Mutt Dash t-shirt (only guaranteed if pre-registered) and post-race refreshments. The first 250 dogs get an event bandana!
