We DASH for Cats Like Delilah

Help Us Reach Our Monster Mutt Dash Goal

An ARF Love Story:  It took a small village of caring people, but Delilah now knows what home means.

It was a cold day in November 2016, when a concerned Berea citizen found a shivering stray cat. It wasn’t long before she was warm and safe with us. We noticed pretty quickly that this pretty little lady was fearful.  We have no idea why, but it was clear. We quickly enrolled her into our Tender Loving Care program, where our skilled volunteers work with our felines who need extra patience.

Slowly we saw her true colors start to shine. However, she still hadn’t found her someone special that understood her. Because it meant a lot to us that she would – we chose her to be one of our first cats in our newly formed Tender Care Foster Program.  Delilah spent two weeks each with two of our most experienced fosters who worked closely with her in a home setting to see how she would adjust. She did fabulously!  And we knew she was more than ready to thrive in a forever home. We then placed her in a foster-to-adopt home where she lived up to our expectations!

On August 13th, Delilah became the first graduate of our Tender Care Foster Program.
Her new furever ‘mom’ says Delilah is just wonderful.

THIS is why we “DASH”!  We thank you for joining us in helping more deserving ones like little Delilah by Mashing the Dash! By gathering pledges or simply making a small donation towards our Mutt Bucks Goal – you’ll be a HERO to homeless animals!
