Volunteer Dog Companions donate their time & energy with our dogs at the shelter.  Volunteers MUST be 18 years of age or older.  No exceptions.

We're looking for dog lovers that can commit at least 2 - 3 hours a week or every other.  Your shift duties include taking dogs for walks, cleaning up after them and giving everyone plenty of TLC!  Volunteers also need to help with laundry (dog bedding & toys) and general clean-up of the Dog House.  Plus, making sure that cages are clean with fresh water.  When possible, special attention is most welcomed by sitting with our dogs, brushing them or enjoying extra play time in the back pens.

HELP is needed 7 days a week / 365 days a year!

Weekdays: 9am - 12pm, 2pm - 4pm & 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Weekends: 9am - 12pm, 3pm - 6pm & 7:30 - 9pm

Immediate! Shift help is most needed for the following shifts...

Wednesdays & Fridays 2pm - 4pm
Sunday evenings 7:30pm - 9pm
Every other Saturday 3pm - 6pm
