Meet Milo! He is currently looking for a forever home. Here is what his foster mom has to say about this sweet boy...Milo's life was changed the day he was found wandering on the side of a highway. My niece spotted him and fell in love instantly with his sweet, shy demeanor. We took him in and took him to the vet to get shots, tests and neutering. The vet thinks he's only 7 months old and possibly an American Bulldog mixed with Lab. Milo needs a special, loving home that will provide him with the attention he needs to show the world what a great canine citizen he will grow up to be.
Milo is full of energy and loves to run and play with his foster brother and sister; two grown boxers who are showing him the ropes around his new home. He's got loads of puppy energy! Milo takes their direction and is learning to be a part of the family. He has a great temperament and is excellent with the other dogs.
Long walks are Milo's favorite! He's very well behaved on the leash, staying next to us instead of pulling ahead. It's really a pleasure taking Milo for a walk. His good temperament also extends to children. He runs and plays with the older kids in the yard, but comes quietly over to our 10 month old daughter to get his fill of ear rubs.
We are very happy to be fostering such a sweet dog. Taken off the streets, his days are now filled with carefree play, love and thoughtful discipline. And at night, he curls up with his buddies. They curl up into one big ball of dog at night by our feet when we're watching tv.
Milo will make a loving, loyal friend for any family ready, willing and able to open their home and hearts to this little guy. If you would like to give Milo his forever home, contact his adoption consultants, Mike and Janine, at 216-224-3159. They can set up a visit so you can meet Milo in person!

Meet Miss Molly! This wonderful girl arrived at the shelter as a stray and is ready to find a forever home and family. And what a lucky family it will be! Molly is a Staffordshire Terrier mix and has charmed everyone she meets. Life has not been too kind to Molly up to this point, so she is a bit shy at first. However, if you give her a moment of your time, and a good scratch behind the ear, Molly warms up quickly. Before you know it, she is asking to be petted! This girl is convinced that she’s a lap dog too! And who could deny a dog with that beautiful chocolate coat, sweet face and gorgeous smile?
While Molly is a bit timid around people, she seems pretty comfortable around other dogs. So, she might be willing to share her new home with a canine sibling! She is also working hard on her leash manners and is sure to be a pro in no time. With a little time, understanding, and lots of love, Molly will realize all of the good things life has to offer. Now she just needs a family to give her that chance.
If you would like to give Molly her forever home, come visit her at the shelter or call her adoption consultants, Greg and Lacy, at 440-724-5791 or lacers422@gmail.com for more information. Molly can’t wait to meet her new family!

Meet Palimino! A two year old Staffordshire terrier mix, she is looking for a forever home. Palimino is "ultra" friendly with people, and loves children. However we feel she might be picky about having to share her home with other pets - she'll definitely have to meet any possible siblings and ge to know them first! Not one to be a picky eater, she eats all brands of dry, and wet dog food, and loves bacon treats! She enjoys her walks and has great manners using the "gentle leader" collar system. And she loves to play with her rope toys and the lawn sprinkler too. Her favorite thing, however is to cuddle. Don’t tell this girl that she’s not a lap dog!
This super smart girl has mastered some commands as well: Sit, Place (an area whcih is her time-out location), Bedtime, Outside, Nice to meet you (she'll hand you her paw), Mind your buisness (used during walking past other dogs), Leave it alone (She'll stay away from any item/person), Out (She'll stay out of the kitchen during meals), Go to bed/quiet and Go potty.
Current on all vaccinations, she just needs a home and family who will keep her safe and show her all the love that she deserves. Palimino will return the love ten-fold and be a great companion for years to come. If you might be interested in adopting Palimino, please contact her adoption consultant, Sherri, at 440-236-6562. You can also come visit Palimino at the shelter!

Hello, my name is Peanut! I'm a 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix. I'm brand new to ARF! My coat was a bit rough around the edges when I arrived - all matted up. The nice people at ARF had me groomed and now I feel like a whole new dog! And, as soon as my coat grows back in, I'll look even more handsome! So if you can overlook my temporary "summer haircut" appearance, I'd really appreciate it. I'm a gentle soul, quiet as a mouse right now. I'm just looking for someone to depend on and give me lots of love! In return I'll be your best friend for years to come.
Call my consultant, Kristin, at 216-798-3154 if you would like more information. I am hanging out in a foster home, but she will set up a visit so we can meet!
