Meet Bonnie! This sweet shepherd mix is currently in search of a forever home.Just a few weeks ago, Bonnie’s future wasn’t looking too bright.Luckily, she found her way to ARF and now has a second chance at life.Around 9 months old, Bonnie had never known all of the wonderful things that life has to offer for a little dog.She had never been held or cuddled and she had no idea what it meant to play.As a result, she is timid around people, sometimes preferring to watch them from a distance. But she is starting to realize that life doesn’t have to be so scary. In fact, she has discovered that it’s actually nice to be cuddled and given treats. And she has found a new favorite activity – running and playing with her foster brother in the backyard!Ever so slowly, Bonnie is starting to come out of her shell. Now it’s time for her to take that next step – to find a forever family.
Bonnie has never had a family of her own, but she knows there is one out there – just for her.Her perfect family would understand that it may take Bonnie some time to become an outgoing, confident dog.But they’d be willing to love her anyway. And they would have another dog – or two – who could show Bonnie the ropes and teach her to play. She thrives in the company of other dogs! Most of all, Bonnie just wants to feel safe, loved, and to know that she will never be alone again.Bonnie will make a perfect companion, if someone will give her the chance.
If you would like to make Bonnie’s dreams come true, contact her adoption consultant, Kristin, at 216-798-3154 or dogcommittee@bereaanimalrescue.com.Bonnie is in a foster home, so Kristin will set up a visit!

Hi!I’m Cisco!I’m just a wee little Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix who is looking for a forever home.I have had quite an adventurous life, for being only 11 months old.I was found running the streets as a stray. Can you imagine?Little old me alone in the big world!Needless to say, my future didn’t look too good. But, I must have had a guardian angel watching over me because I was saved from danger. Now I’ve traveled to ARF where I am hanging out until my forever family comes along.Needless to say, I have won the hearts of the volunteers with my beauty and sweet personality. But, who wouldn’t be smitten by such a personable little dog?
I love being at ARF, but I really would like a home of my own.I could use a little TLC, as my adventures have left me a bit thin and scared. It takes me just a few minutes – and maybe a few treats – to realize that people love me and will take good care of me.Once I know that I am safe, I love to be with my people and follow them everywhere.I’m just a young boy who loves the company of other little dogs. So, if you are looking for a little canine companion to add to your pack, might you consider adopting me?I would be forever grateful and return all of your love ten-fold!What do you say?
If you would like to make my dreams come true and give me a forever home, please contact my adoption consultant, Marsha, at 440-759-9269 or jmtglass@yahoo.com for more information.I am hanging out in a foster home, so Marsha will set up a visit. Can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Donovan! This handsome hound mix has found his way to ARF and is looking for a forever home. He arrived at the shelter as a stray so we do not know much about his history. However, we already can see that Donovan is spirited and friendly to everyone he meets! He is a bit picky about his canine companions, so he would have to meet any potential siblings to see if they could be buddies. Donovan seems well adjusted and cared for, so we know he will make a great family pet. This boy is a true joy of a dog - energetic, funny, and spunky. His eyes follow you everywhere. Donovan is very attentive and watchful but he still loves to curl up after a hard day of performing all of his hound duties...ball chasing, investigating, and keeping squirrels out of your yard. He dreams of finding a home where he can feel safe, secure and, most of all, loved. Could that be your home?
If you would like to give Donovan his forever home, contact his adoption consultants, Mike and Jen, at 440-463-8373 or mlray1013@gmail.com. Donovan is hanging out in a foster home, so they will set up a visit. Donovan can’t wait to meet you!

Hi there!I'm Espresso and I’m currently hanging out at ARF waiting for a family to take me home. They say I’m something called a Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix.I’m not exactly sure what that is, but if it means that I’m handsome, affectionate and super smart, well they’re absolutely right! I came to the shelter in pretty rough shape – my hair was all matted and I had some sores. So, I had to get some medical attention and a pretty funky haircut. But please don’t hold that against me!I may look a little different right now, but I compensate by being extra sweet and loving to everyone I meet.I know that I am not a puppy anymore, but I would still love to find a home where I can feel safe and loved for the first time in my life!
I’m working hard to learn these things called leash manners, which they say will help me in a new home.I think I am doing quite well, if I do say so myself!I’m pretty sure that I can learn anything - I just need a loving family to teach me.Might you be the one to make my dreams come true?
Please consider adopting me and I do promise you won't regret it!If you would like more information, please contact my adoption consultant, Lisa, at 440-243-1245 or at lmjolivares@gmail.com.I am hanging out in a foster home, so she will set up a visit and we can get to know one another!
